ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Medical Radiation Technologist/Diagnostic Medical Sonographer co-ordinates, performs and documents all activities involved in Radiography and Ultrasound Examinations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Radiography diploma from a Medical Radiation Technology program

• Diagnostic Medical Sonography diploma from an accredited program

• Must be Sonography Canada Credentialed and/or registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers

• Must be registered with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO)

• Bilingual in French and English is required

• Computer literacy (Meditech and Impax programs) an asset
