Position Summary:

Responsible for the efficient performance of the technical procedures performed within the Laboratory, and the accurate examination and processing of clinical specimens to provide timely information to direct caregivers.

Qualifications:

-     College diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology

-     Current general registration, in good standing, in hematology, biochemistry, phlebotomy and             transfusion science with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO)                   is required.

-       A valid Ontario Driver’s License and own transportation

-      French Language Service Designation: Bilingualism, English and French, is required. In accordance

       with the French Language Services Plan, if no bilingual candidates (both internal and external)

       meet the qualifications, unilingual candidates may be considered.  

Hours of Work:

-       As needed and able to participate in on-call duties.
