Brunswick House First Nation is seeking two professional and reliable Laborers to assist with the repair and maintenance of roads in Tophet, Ontario.
This is a physically demanding, 15-week outdoor position. The successful applicants will stay in Tophet with the project supervisor for the duration of the project.

Position Details

- Number of Positions: Two
- Duration: 15 weeks
- Hours: 8-hour days
- Starting Wage: $25 per hour
- Location: Tophet, Ontario
Position Overview
The Laborers will perform physically demanding outdoor work as part of a team responsible for repairing and maintaining roads in Tophet. The successful applicants must be dependable, safety-conscious and capable of working independently when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks required to build, repair and maintain roads
- Work outdoors in a team environment to support the safety and quality of the roads
- Repair potholes
- Load and unload debris, tools and equipment
- Complete brushing alongside roads
- Assist with the replacement of four culverts
- Assist with the construction of a small bridge
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of workplace safety
- Proficiency in the operation of tools
- Professional, dependable and able to work independently
